Ministry of Municipality. Qatar

The Ministry of Municipality and Environment is the Ministry that aims to meet the needs of daily life and to contribute, through its departments, municipalities, and subsidiary centers, to the rapid development of the State of Qatar.

BOS Barcelona participated from the beginning in the long and challenging project which covered the 37 Qatar Ministry buildings and that took 3 years to be determined. The collaboration was contracted directly by the Ministry’s architectural department, along with other recognised suppliers such as Ashghal, responsible for the project’s infrastructure. The products chosen for the interior design project for the top management areas were:

• Aqua Desks designed for senior management offices, with a great layout and refined style. These spaces were completed with bookcases from the Luxury collection. The offices were combined with Herman Miller’s Aeron chairs.
• Foro Sofas that fascinate with their customizable sides in natural wood or lacquer, or in an endless number of options in upholstery, which gives it the immense power of tuning into any environment. The project also included the set of small coffee tables.
• Supra Meeting Table: with a beautiful combination of natural wood and lacquer that provides class to the meeting room. The table is completed with Vela executive chairs which versatility, impeccable design and comfort make them ideal for serving the magnificent meeting table.
